Hands...


Whilst skimming through some of our work, it was interesting, and somehow revealing, to see how often hands, or the theme of hands, has been featured. Most depictions have been of my, somewhat non-manicured, hands, 'acting' out a number of different roles - as shadow-puppets, branching 'trees', 'texture readers' (hand models), scale providers, etc. As of yet, it appears they have changed less than the rest of my appearance, but they still act (with their various nicks and bruises, calluses, jagged nails...) as some form of tactile mnemonic tracers of my various touch related activities over the years.
