Thanks to the extended Skyway network one can transcend across most of downtown Minneapolis without setting a foot outside. Confusing at first for a novice, these, somewhat 'labyrinthal', above ground burrows connecting the various urban hubs to each other nevertheless provide a quasi-hermetic world of their own with their extensive choice of interconnected restaurants and coffee-shops, stationary stores, clothing shops, jewelers, flower-shops, relators, banks, galleries, hotels and more... It probably would be possible to sustain oneself (both in body and spirit) in these passages for a substantial time period without having to set a foot on an actual sidewalk...
